Welcome to The Arrowhead District website! 2008 is already shaping up to be another great year for our district as we endeavor to provide a quality program for our youth. One of the main objectives for this year’s District Committee is to improve our communications to everyone in the Arrowhead District. Our new and improved website is one of the first steps towards achieving that goal. Many thanks to Rick Schomburg for taking the time to develop this wonderful new website and creating the foundation. Now it is up to us to keep the information current and relevant. Boy Scouting is for boys who are at least 11 years old, or have completed the fifth grade, to 17 years old. In Boy Scouting, boys, families, and adult leaders work together to achieve the objectives of character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness. Among other methods, Scouting uses an outdoor program and an advancement program to help achieve these objectives.
Cub Scouting is the program for boys in the first through fifth grades. In Cub Scouting, boys, families, and adult leaders work together to influence a boy's character development and spiritual growth, foster a sense of personal achievement by developing new interests and skills, and provide fun and exciting new things to do.
Venturing is for young men and women who are at least 14 years old and have completed the eighth grade, to 20 years old. Venturers experience a program that is fun and full of challenge and adventure. Venturing includes activities that involve outdoor adventure, leadership opportunities, and service to others.Login Form

Hooray for Hollywood - Day Camp 2008. Lights, Camera… ACTION! Producer, Rob Cramer, here… It is my privilege to be this year’s Day Camp Director. I have scripted out an awesome adventure for our district’s Cub Scouts. Here are some key points for Camp this year: Location – Camp Lazarus on St Rt. 23 in Delaware, OH; Dates – August 5th, 6th & 7th 2008; Time – Opening begins at 8:30 AM – 1st audition begins at 9. Closing begins at 3:10 and will be done by 4:00 PM; Lunch is not provided, so please bring a non-perishable bag lunch and a water bottle. Registration will be online this year, check out www.skcbsa.org! Walker Ratio is 1 to 4 boys… Please plan accordingly. |
